JAV stands for Japanese Adult Video. It refers to porn produced in Japan. JAV typically features very little dialogue. When watching JAV, consider skipping the sections where people aren't talking.
If you enjoy erotic content, I recommend reading doujinshi, perhaps something from Nhentai or a similar site. Doujinshi often contain plenty of dialogue, which is great for immersion.
